Yahoo Platform & Exchanges team manage ad product strategy, training, delivery and client services for Yahoo's proprietary ad tech platforms including BrightRoll Exchange, BrightRoll DSP, Yahoo Gemini, Tumblr Ads & Flurry Analytics.

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Programmatic Services to join and lead our high performing team in Sydney. This is a rare leadership role with high visibility role leading our services to Agencies, Trading Desk, Publishers & App Developers across Programmatic, Native, Video and Social advertising solutions.


A strategic thinker and proven leader, you will be passionate about the future of digital, specifically in relation to data and technology. You will have a proven track record developing strategy and delivering results across programmatic, or other biddable media solutions like Search or Social. A natural educator, you are able to work with multiple stakeholders globally and locally, internally and externally - you will be driven by the desire to demonstrate the ability of Yahoo7 offering. Your Day
• Develop and deliver the strategy for Programmatic, Native, Video and Social to achieve and exceed revenue targets in AU & NZ.
• Responsible for campaign optimisation to achieve client ROI goals, across all audience ad campaigns
• Deliver platform demonstrations alongside Sales for prospective customers and provide platform training for new clients and employees.
• Provide leadership, coaching and training to a team of high performing Programmatic Optimisation Specialists across AU & NZ.
• Work with Global SSPs, DSPs and Publishers and provide operational support to maintain optimal marketplace dynamics
• Manage relationships with the regional product owners/stakeholders of Yahoo ad platforms as well third party ad tech vendors
• Procure and manage new supply sources for inventory and data and integrate them into existing Yahoo ad platforms
• Project manage migration of campaigns between ad platforms where required


• 6+ years experience in performance, programmatic, search or other biddable media
• 3+ years experience in managing a high performing team
• Experience in campaign optimisation, campaign management within a publisher, trading desk, ad network or marketing services business an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of digital advertising platforms e.g. Adservers (Advertiser or Publisher), DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges, SEM Platforms, Social PMD
• Strong communication skills; ability to influence decision makers and peers
• Exceptional problem solving & time management skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, IT or Computer Science preferred.
