Adelaide Adds Digital Media Expert & Pushly CEO Brendan Ripp to Strategic Advisory Board

Adelaide, the leader in attention-based media quality measurement, is delighted to welcome Brendan Ripp to its board of advisors. Ripp is currently the CEO of Pushly and a former executive at Time Warner and The Walt Disney Company, with over twenty years of experience in digital content and revenue strategy.

As CEO of Pushly, a trailblazer in web and native notification technology designed for major publishers, Ripp heads a diverse and dynamic team focused on developing and expanding cutting-edge digital products. Under his leadership, Pushly has seen exponential global growth, marked by a 310% increase over three years, earning it recognition from Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the US and IOT’s 2024 Marketing Platform of the Year.

Ripp’s previous roles include EVP at Disney advertising sales, where he oversaw National Geographic advertising revenue across all channels as well as global consumer products and licensing. During his tenure, Nat Geo launched a new Branded Content Studio, earned its first-ever “Media Company of the Year” Webby award, and earned its first Cannes Gold Lion. He also served as an operating partner of Attention Capital, where he acted as CRO and provided strategic guidance to multiple startups. Before that, Ripp spent 16 years in various leadership capacities at Time Warner, overseeing news, business, and sports properties.

"Brendan's remarkable leadership in digital innovation and distinguished track record in digital publishing will provide invaluable insight for Adelaide," said Marc Guldimann, CEO of Adelaide. "His extensive expertise with new business development and corporate growth strategy, as well as his deep understanding of the media landscape, will strengthen our commitment to scaling our media quality measurement solution.”

Ripp has served as a board member of several industry and charitable organisations, including the American Advertising Federation, Concern Worldwide US, the International Advertising Association, and is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Reflecting on his appointment, Ripp said, “I am excited to join Adelaide’s board of advisors at this crucial juncture. With an innovative approach to measuring media quality, Adelaide is setting benchmarks in the industry. I look forward to contributing to the company’s growth and helping to shape the future of media quality assessment.”
