The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has warned that the AI boom could have a wealth of negative effects on people and businesses. Google appeals fine, argues it did not treat rivals unfairly

Google has made a final attempt to overturn a €2.42bn (~£3.8bn) fine issued by the EU. The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) will rule in the coming months.
