Nippon TV Partners with PubMatic to Expand Global Access to Premium Japanese Broadcast Inventory

Nippon Television Network (Nippon TV), Japan’s leading broadcaster, has named PubMatic, an independent technology company delivering digital advertising’s supply chain of the future, as a Premier Partner for Sugree, its programmatic TV advertising platform.

Nippon TV reaches more than 100 million monthly active users (MAU) each month through a wide range of popular entertainment, news, sports, and drama programming. By aligning its broadcast inventory with PubMatic’s global programmatic expertise, Nippon TV is making premium Japanese TV content accessible to advertisers around the world in real time, with advanced audience targeting, reporting, and optimisation capabilities.

The collaboration underscores a major shift in how broadcast television can be planned and bought. Through the partnership with Sugree, PubMatic’s advertiser partners will gain programmatic access to Nippon TV’s inventory, enabling campaigns that combine the scale and brand safety of linear TV with the efficiency and flexibility of digital media.
