RAAS LAB, the platform delivering real-time relevance and meaningful results for advertisers, today (8th December, 2025) announced the appointment of Shane Smith as VP of relevance and Tom Warden as sales director. These two strategic appointments come at a pivotal moment for RAAS LAB, as the company enters a significant growth phase and continues to scale both its technology and its commercial operations.

Shane joins RAAS LAB from Incubeta, head of smart studio, where he led a multi-disciplinary studio that fused creative craft with dynamic creative optimisation and AI automation. His role involved scaling creative across all addressable platforms for major clients, including L’Oréal, Samsonite, HelloFresh, Delivery Hero, and Google. In his new role at RAAS LAB, Shane will help unite creative and operations under one strategic vision, placing relevance at the centre of how the business thinks, builds, and delivers for clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Shane, VP of relevance, said: "RAAS LAB is at a really exciting inflection point. The opportunity to push the boundaries of relevance using AI, while building scalable creative systems that genuinely drive performance, is hugely compelling. I’m excited to help shape the next phase of the platform’s growth."
RAAS LAB’s new sales director, Tom Warden, previously worked at Teads as group account director, where he managed partnerships with major agency holdcos including Havas, Publicis, and WPP. He was responsible for driving revenue growth in the UK and internationally across these accounts, while leading and developing a high-performing team. At RAAS LAB, Tom plays a key role in building partnerships with key London-based agency holdcos.

Tom, sales director, said: "I’m thrilled to join RAAS LAB and support the company in expanding its presence among major London-based agency holdcos. I look forward to partnering with enterprise advertisers and demonstrating how RAAS LAB’s proprietary technology can drive stronger performance across the open web."
These appointments are the first of a number of key hires to be announced as part of RAAS LAB’s growth trajectory. As 2026 approaches, the company stands poised for exceptional momentum, driven by product excellence, a strengthened leadership team, and a commitment to redefining relevance in digital advertising.
Thomas Ives, co-founder of RAAS LAB, adds, "These hires represent a major step forward for RAAS LAB. Shane brings strong expertise in creative automation and AI-driven relevance, while Tom’s commercial leadership and agency relationship experience will be instrumental as we scale. Together, they strengthen our ability to deliver meaningful outcomes for advertisers and publishers, as we move into a defining year for the business in 2026."
