PubMatic Appoints Takeo Hori as Senior Director, Advertiser Solutions, Japan

PubMatic, an independent technology company delivering digital advertising’s supply chain of the future, has today (5th August, 2025) announced the appointment of Takeo Hori as senior director, advertiser solutions of Japan.
Bringing extensive expertise to PubMatic, Takeo previously served as head of sales at Teads. Prior to this, he led the advertising division at Microsoft Japan where he was responsible for targeting advertising agencies. He also served as business development director at Index Exchange, where he led the launch of the demand-side business in Japan.

In his new position, Takeo will be responsible for demand side sales, overseeing outreach to advertisers and advertising agencies. He is also set to take on new business development initiatives.
Speaking about his new role, Takeo stated; "I am truly honoured to join PubMatic and contribute to the wider digital advertising industry. Over the years, I have gained in-depth knowledge of supply-side technologies. My experiences have fuelled my passion for delivering real media value to advertisers and I aim to leverage my expertise to promote a deeper understanding and wider adoption of the Open Web's value, within the Japanese market."
Takeo will report to Ken Aihara, country manager for Japan, who added, "We are delighted to welcome Takeo to the PubMatic team. His depth of experience and proven leadership will be crucial as we continue to expand and drive our presence and innovation in the Japanese market."
