10 Years of goTom: Swiss Ad Tech Provider Celebrates Milestone & Looks Ahead

goTom, the Swiss SaaS company for ad sales management, celebrated its 10th anniversary on September 11. Together with clients, partners, and employees, the company hosted a summer party on Lake Zurich. With BBQ, cool drinks, and music, the evening brought back memories — but also highlighted what defines goTom today: team spirit, closeness to the market, and a passion for innovation.
What began in 2015 as a spin-off software from Tamedia has, over the past decade, grown into an indispensable platform for digital advertising sales. Today, leading publishers and marketplaces such as Ringier, Teads, and Vend rely on the Swiss platform across multiple European markets.
In a short speech, the founders, Alban Grossenbacher (CEO), Ginette Lumbiarres (CPO), and Mike Meier (CTO), reflected on this journey: "We are proud that a small idea has become a solution that now successfully supports publishers across several markets," said Grossenbacher.
But the anniversary was not only an occasion to look back. The company is firmly focused on the future and plans to continue its expansion.
