Overwolf, the all-in-one platform that empowers brands and advertisers to reach more than 113 million gamers each month, today announced the expansion of its global Brand Partnerships team with the addition of three senior leaders, including Annie Por as Director of Brand Partnerships, West, Kelly Mathyssen as Director of Brand Partnerships, and Tomasz Kaminski as Account Manager.
The appointments come during a period of rapid growth for Overwolf’s advertising business. In the past 12 months, the company has doubled in-game ad sales to USD$100m (£74m), partnered with global brands including Netflix, Coca-Cola, Samsung, P&G, Verizon, Amazon, Universal Pictures, Lancôme, and major media agencies such as PHD, Publicis, Havas, dentsu, Wavemaker, and Mediacom. Overwolf also became one of the first gaming platforms to join The Trade Desk’s OpenPath and entered Comscore’s top 10 gaming properties in both the US and Europe.
Annie Por joins Overwolf with nearly 20 years of experience helping brands connect with Millennial and Gen Z audiences through innovative digital partnerships. Most recently, she was Senior Account Director at Spotter, where she was one of the first 40 hires and helped bring the company’s proprietary creator financing model to market, partnering with top YouTubers like MrBeast and Dude Perfect. Her career includes roles at Mindshare, Initiative, IGN, CBS Interactive (GameSpot and CNET), and Imgur, where she built a thriving business in community-driven advertising in the entertainment and games vertical.
"I was drawn to Overwolf because it’s a place where creativity and collaboration are a priority. I love building things from the ground up, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about its people and their growth makes all the difference,” commented Annie Por, Director of Brand Partnerships, West, Overwolf. “I believe in Overwolf’s mission to empower in-game creators, and I’m excited to bring my experience and network back to the gaming space to help grow the brand partnerships team."
Kelly Mathyssen brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and partnerships across the digital media and gaming industries. She most recently served as National Director of Gaming Partnerships at Fandom, where she spent over seven years scaling the company’s gaming business, leading sponsorships, and delivering award-winning brand activations. Highlights of her tenure include influencer-driven video campaigns for AAA game launches, experiential activations at PAX and ComicCon, and integrated partnerships with top publishers and agencies.
"Having spent nearly eight years at Fandom working at the intersection of gaming and community, I was drawn to Overwolf’s bold approach to UGC and the unique ways it helps brands show up meaningfully in the gaming ecosystem. Overwolf stood out as a company that values authentic engagement with gamers and encourages its teams to push creative boundaries. I’m thrilled to join a team that is shaping the future of in-game experiences," said Kelly Mathyssen, Director of Brand Partnerships.
Tomasz Kaminski brings deep experience in customer success, revenue operations, and community-driven brand partnerships in gaming. Most recently, Tomasz served as VP of Customer Success and Growth at Wildfire, where he led community-first campaigns for major titles including Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity and Netflix’s Sakamoto Days, engaging millions of fans across Discord activations. Prior to that, he was Director of Revenue Operations and Customer Success at Enthusiast Gaming, where he helped build and scale the account management function while overseeing major partnerships with Microsoft Xbox, the NFL, and Verizon through initiatives like Tuesday Night Gaming.
“Overwolf is pushing the boundaries of how brands engage with gamers. When I saw their innovative rewarded achievements in-game, it instantly clicked for me as a lifelong gamer. Joining a company that’s forward-thinking, genuinely supports its people, and is truly embedded in the gaming community felt like the perfect next step,” commented Tomasz Kaminski, Account Manager at Overwolf.
