Austria Tourism has recorded standout results in the United Kingdom with its first-ever Video Native campaign on the Readpeak platform, delivering ultra-low costs, high engagement, and performance exceeding major video providers.
As part of its mission to refresh perceptions of Austria among UK travellers, Austria Tourism partnered with Readpeak to test the impact of Video Native against five established video platforms. The campaign set out to challenge common clichés about Austria, establish native video as a strong storytelling tool, and expand the organisation’s media mix beyond traditional native formats.

Austria Tourism and Readpeak have built a trusted collaboration over several years, with strong results in native advertising across multiple markets. This campaign marked their first test of Readpeak’s video capabilities and a strategic opportunity to benchmark performance.
Using a two-part creative approach, each video focused on debunking a different Austrian stereotype. Delivered within premium editorial environments, the ads blended naturally with surrounding content and captured traveller attention through subtle, story-driven messaging.

- 39.85% VTR and 60% average playtime
- 9.5x more impressions served for the same budget compared with the average across competing platforms
