A Preview of ATS London 2025: What to Expect Next Week

We run you through what you can expect from ExchangeWire’s ATS London event on 9th September…

ATS London is finally arriving: next Tuesday, ExchangeWire returns to the Queen Elizabeth II Centre for a day brimming with everything ad tech. Discussions will cover all the biggest industry topics, from curation and the creator economy, to TV fragmentation, strategic buying, and of course, AI, among many others.

A first time integration

There’s something new in store at ATS London this year, as it integrates for the first time with FirstPartyCapital’s MadTechMoney. The collaboration will bring together individuals from the investment, technology, and media sectors, offering many new networking opportunities.

A day filled with expert insights

Expect a day filled with insights from industry experts. We’re excited to be welcoming back Andrew Casale, president and CEO of Index Exchange, who will take to the stage again this year alongside ExchangeWire and FirstPartyCapital’s Ciaran O'Kane. Casale will discuss a breakthrough innovation transforming the sell side of programmatic advertising, revealing the new opportunities it presents for media owners and buyers.

Later, Casale will be joining one of the MadTechMoney panels covering how strategic buying will drive the future of ad tech and marketing tech, hosted by Business Insider’s Lara O’Reilly. Casale will share his perspective on building long-term value without relying on outside investment or aggressive M&A, examining what sustainable innovation looks like.

The morning will also feature a dive into retail media, with Kevel founder and CEO James Avery, and head of PayPal Ads UK’s Henry Stokes. Their fireside chat, moderated by O’Kane, will unpack the rapid evolution of retail media networks, touching on key challenges, trends, and opportunities in the sector.

Elsewhere, Azerion’s Sebastian Moesman will take to the stage to discuss the futility of ad tech, and why AI makes it redundant. Meanwhile, Experian’s Sarah Robertson will explore what’s powering the next generation of ad tech, focusing on the rise of the super signal aggregator.

The rest of the morning will feature discussions including curation, the creator economy, achieving seamless omnichannel advertising, and more.

After lunch, we’ll dive into the much talked about topic of how AI is transforming advertising, TV fragmentation, and the evolution of the marketer data tech stack. Plus, the future of lending in ad tech and media, how advancements in tech are transforming publishing, and how industry players are collaborating to make safety a critical part of their revenue strategy.
