BIGO Ads Becomes a Registered Vendor under IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF)

We’re excited to share that BIGO Ads, Programmatic Advertising Platform under JOYY Inc., is now a registered vendor of the IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2. 

This recognition marks an important milestone in BIGO Ads’ continued commitment to data privacy, transparency, and responsible advertising practices across the global digital ecosystem.

Why work with the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF)?

Launched in April 2018, the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) is a cross-industry voluntary standard designed to help publishers, advertisers, and technology partners operate within a shared privacy and consent framework. It enables seamless collaboration across the digital advertising supply chain while ensuring compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy requirements.

  • For publishers and developers: 

TCF helps publishers of websites and apps (first parties) work effectively with technology partners that support the delivery, personalisation, and measurement of advertising and content (third-parties or vendors). By standardising how privacy choices are presented and managed, TCF ensures users receive a consistent and transparent experience when making consent decisions.

  • For users: 

TCF empowers users to grant or withhold consent and to exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data. It establishes minimum practical requirements—based on guidance from Data Protection Authorities and relevant legal precedents — to ensure users are properly informed, offered meaningful privacy choices, and that those choices are respected across the digital ecosystem. 

As a key part of the global IAB network, IAB Europe has long been committed to advancing the practical implementation of regulations such as GDPR and ePrivacy across the digital advertising industry. It brings together developers and publishers, brands, advertising platforms, agencies, and technology companies to collaboratively build a sustainable and responsible advertising ecosystem.

As an official TCF-registered vendor, BIGO Ads will:
