xpln.ai Appoints Regional Chief Commercial Officers to Drive Next Phase of International Growth

xpln.ai, the leading attention intelligence platform for advertisers, today (3rd November, 2026) announced the promotions of Dominic Di Talamo and Massi Mekla to newly created roles that focus on further regional expansion.

Di Talamo becomes chief commercial officer for northern Europe and growth markets, which covers the UK, Germany, APAC, and the Middle East.

Mekla is appointed chief commercial officer for southern Europe, overseeing France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium.

The new regional structure brings together commercial leadership and client management, helping to better support agencies and advertisers as they apply attention measurement to media planning, campaign optimisation, and investment decisions across markets.

"As attention becomes a more established part of media decision-making, advertisers need both consistency across markets and the expertise to act on the insights locally," said Dominic Di Talamo. "Our focus is on scaling that capability internationally, while building stronger partnerships that translate attention intelligence into measurable business value."

Commenting on his appointment, Massi Mekla said: "Our experience in France has shown that the value of attention intelligence comes from how clients put it to work. As we expand across Southern Europe, bringing commercial and client teams closer together will help us respond to local market needs, deepen partnerships, and turn insights into more effective media decisions."

The appointments follow seven office openings across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America over the past 12 months, with Di Talamo and Mekla playing an instrumental role in building xpln.ai’s foundations and driving success across these markets. New Dubai, Belgium, and Germany offices will open in January and will be supported by country managers.

"Over the past year, xpln.ai has extended its international footprint significantly. The next step is about turning that presence into a truly connected global organisation," said Fabien Magalon, CEO and co-founder of xpln.ai. "Dominic and Massi’s expanded responsibilities mark an important step in our ambition to make attention intelligence a standard part of how advertisers plan, optimise, and evaluate their media investments worldwide."
