Azerion has promoted Ava Moran to executive vice president (EVP), country manager, North America, as it continues to strengthen its investment in the territory. The new role has been created in response to significant business growth in North America and will enable the omnichannel advertising platform to further evolve to meet the needs of the local market.
Moran has over 15 years of experience in the media and digital advertising industry. She has been appointed country manager at Azerion, having been the company’s senior vice president (SVP), head of operations for North America, prior to which she was SVP for sales in the region. Previous roles include SVP of sales at Hybrid Theory (acquired by Azerion in 2022) and senior sales positions at Exponential.

This background will see Moran combine a global business outlook with the local expertise required to enable regional autonomy. In her new role, she will further align the commercial and operational business units in North America by strengthening the cross-functional collaboration across the sales, marketing, trading, client services, and platform operations. As well as meeting the specific needs of the local market, this will further Azerion’s business objectives through ongoing revenue growth, product and service innovation, and effective strategic partnerships.
Mickael Ferreira, chief business officer at Azerion, says: "Ava has a proven track record across the wider industry and at Azerion for building high-performance teams, navigating complex change and driving initiatives that have a direct impact on the bottom line. As we look to cement our position in the key region of North America, her ability to marry in-depth local knowledge to deliver on the ground, while thinking at a global level, will be a vital business asset."
Moran says, "Azerion has already demonstrated to the North American market what it can achieve; now is the time to accelerate these capabilities with stronger internal alignment, rapid decision-making and a focus on future technologies. Combining this approach with an outward looking perspective will enable the team to deliver tools and solutions that are fine-tuned to the buyer behaviour and needs of our local market, enabling us to continue to expand our footprint and relevance in this region."
