Navigator, the travel-native commerce media company, has today (23rd October, 2026) announced the appointment of Janet Hotz as group chief operating officer (COO).
This newly-created role further strengthens Navigator’s executive team, as the business scales its global operations and commerce media network.
Hotz brings three decades of experience in senior business strategy, operational transformation, and company growth gained within the financial services, management consulting, technology, and education sectors.

She has held senior leadership positions at global institutions including HSBC, Credit Suisse, UBS and KPMG Consulting, as well as executive roles within high-growth technology ventures.
Throughout her career, Hotz has managed operational budgets exceeding USD$1.5bn (£1.1bn)) and led global teams of over 500 people, spanning departments within data and analytics, technology, compliance, and client services.
Her extensive skillset in leading businesses through rapid organisational growth and complex international execution will support Navigator’s operational scaling as the business extends its footprint internationally.
Steve Rowbotham, CEO of Navigator, commented: "Janet’s hands-on expertise in scaling global operations and executing complex strategies across international markets makes her a vital addition to the business. As Navigator expands further, her background in high-performing operational data and technology operations and track record in leading cross-border teams will be invaluable to our development into a world-class commerce media network powered by travel signals."
Janet Hotz, group COO at Navigator, added: "Building the world's first travel commerce media network on our unique data assets is a phenomenal opportunity. The market timing, the platform and the product strategy all align perfectly. Navigator is fundamentally redefining how advertisers reach and engage travel audiences and joining the team at such a pivotal point in its development is genuinely exciting."
Janet’s appointment follows other major developments this year for Navigator, including opening an office in Singapore. It also follows Paul Wright joining the business, who brings significant expertise gained in senior roles at Uber, Amazon, Apple, Sky, and AOL to his role of advisor to the board.
