The second story covers Meta's plans to extend its advertising offerings into CTV. Finally, they look into News UK's synthetic audience-planning tool, Times ExplorAItion, and the ways publishers are leveraging their first-party data to better target audiences.

Index Exchange deploys containerised DSP

Bedrock Platform has debuted the world’s first containerised demand-side platform (DSP) through Index Exchange’s Index Cloud infrastructure. The integration introduces a new model for how DSPs host their bidders at scale on the open internet. The move reshapes programmatic buying while preserving the independent roles of DSPs, SSPs, agencies, and media owners.

Meta looks to CTV to fuel ad growth

Meta appears to be laying the groundwork for a move into CTV advertising. According to multiple sources who requested to remain anonymous, Meta has been in talks with supply-side platforms including Magnite and Comcast, as well as TV manufacturers and publishers, about how it could access CTV inventory at scale and extend its advertising offerings into CTV.

News UK builds new ad tool

News UK is harnessing The Times’ first-party data to build a synthetic audience-planning tool for advertisers, named Times ExplorAItion. The tool will combine multiple data sets including subscriber behaviour, reader panels, engagement stats and third-party industry data. Advertisers will be able to use the tool to plan and test campaigns.
