Axeptio has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems. This milestone formally recognises the company’s long-standing commitment to data protection, fully aligned with its role in fostering trust between brands and their users.

ISO/IEC 27001 sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard provides organisations with a structured framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the protection of sensitive information assets — including personal data, financial information, strategic documents, and data entrusted by third parties.

As recalled by the certification body Certi Trust, ISO/IEC 27001 is built around three core principles: confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. These pillars underpin all the requirements of the standard and guide the design of the ISMS.

Achieving ISO 27001 certification is the result of a company-wide effort launched in early 2025, involving all Axeptio teams.
