Programmatic Advertising Expands to Car LED Screens

Adtelligent, a global ad tech provider, has partnered with Uklon Ads and Advision to launch automated advertising on LED screens installed on the roofs of Uklon partner cars. The project brings car-based DOOH inventory into the programmatic ecosystem, allowing brands to display digital campaigns in real time across selected urban routes in Ukraine.
"We are expanding advertising opportunities for brands so they can connect with their audiences even more effectively. LED panels on the roofs of partner cars are a logical extension of this approach: advertising appears where traditional media placements are not always available," said Iryna Balashova, head of Uklon Ads.
All LED screens installed as part of this project are placed on the roofs of selected Uklon partner cars and operate within a centralised system managed through the Advision CMS platform. Ad management and placement are powered by Adtelligent’s programmatic technologies. The project is part of Uklon’s broader activation of advertising and retail media network, bringing together its in-app and DOOH inventory in one connected ecosystem.

"We see this project as the first step toward building a comprehensive smart advertising ecosystem, where user contact can be planned within a unified infrastructure," commented Anastasiya Shmal, VP of retail media at Adtelligent.
The implementation of this project in Ukraine has enabled Uklon to become one of the first companies in Eastern Europe to launch this kind of model.
"In the context of unstable power supply in Ukraine, Uklon Ads’ DOOH media with uninterrupted power supply are especially important for advertisers. Display stability helps brands remain visible and maintain high-quality contact with their audiences," explained Oleksandr Savytskyi, CEO of Advision.
Among the key benefits of the integration are real-time analytics and post-campaign reporting. In addition, cars with LED screens attract more attention than static advertising media, as they cover areas with a high concentration of audiences.
