The debate around Ferrari's new electric Luce model has generated more than 650,000 article page views in the UK and Italy within a week of the vehicle's unveiling, new data from content recommendation platform Taboola shows.
Ferrari's Luce was one of the most highly debated car launches of recent years. As Ferrari's first fully electric vehicle, the £440,000 model has divided opinion with its futuristic design, five-seat layout and departure from the brand's traditional petrol-powered heritage. Ferrari's share price fell by more than 8% immediately following the launch.
Data from Taboola’s network of media publishers in Ferrari’s key markets of the UK and Italy highlights the intense global interest surrounding the launch. In total, articles related to the Ferrari Luce generated more than 651,000 page views during the week following its launch, including:
- Italy: 493,000 page views (up 418% versus the week prior)
- UK: 158,000 page views (up 143% versus the week prior)
While the Ferrari Luce has generated significant international attention, it has not yet surpassed the reader interest generated by Jaguar's controversial 2025 rebrand. In the UK alone, articles relating to Jaguar's rebrand attracted more than 700,000 page views within a week of its launch, making it one of the most-read automotive brand stories of recent years.
Dave Struzzi, communications lead, Taboola, said: "The readership figures show just how deeply people care about Ferrari and the future of the brand. It's rare for a new vehicle launch to generate this level of discussion across multiple countries, but the Ferrari Luce has clearly struck a nerve with enthusiasts, consumers and commentators alike."
"Whether people love it or hate it, they're engaging with it, reading about it and sharing their opinions. The scale of interest we're seeing demonstrates the strength of feeling the launch has generated and the global debate it has sparked. What remains to be seen is whether this extraordinary level of attention ultimately translates into positive or negative sentiment towards Ferrari in the months ahead."
