AdColony Leads The Shortlist for The Wires Global Awards 2021

Wires Awards

The shortlist for The Wires Global 2021 awards has been announced by ExchangeWire, with AdColony leading the finalists with eight shortlisted entries across five categories.

Now in its fifth year, The Wires Global awards programme recognises the very best use of media, marketing and commerce across all aspects of media sales and media buying, celebrating use of technology, expertise, and innovation within the industry. Proving it's been a bumper 12 months for digital advertising, we received a record number of submissions across the categories, and were very excited to see the popularity amongst our brand new ecommerce and gaming categories.

Our esteemed panel of judges were incredibly impressed with the quality of this year's entries, and were bolstered by how much positivity exists in the industry, in what continues to be a very challenging period.

AdColony has three shortlisted entries in the Best Mobile Campaign category, for its work with PT Global Digital Niaga and Wavemaker Indonesia; Seven & I Holdings, PHD Media and Anzu; and The Coca-Cola Company and Starcom Indonesia. AdColony has also been shortlisted for its work with Ferrero Asia Pacific PTE LTD and Mindshare Philippines, as well as PT Unilever Indonesia TBK and Mindshare Indonesia in the Best Use of Data & Creativity category. The mobile advertising and marketing platform, which was acquired by Digital Turbine in March this year, was also shortlisted in the Best Ecommerce Customer Acquisition Strategy, Best Regional Campaign - North America, and Best Gaming User Acquisition/Monetisation Technology categories.

VIOOH, Twitch, InfoSum, Channel 4, Croud, Incubeta, S4M, PubMatic, Semasio, Yieldbird and mediarithmics also saw multiple entries shortlisted across the 18 categories.

Rachel Smith, ExchangeWire CSO, said of this year’s Global Wires awards: “We are bowled over by the quality and volume of submissions we have received this year, and seeing some of the work that has come out of these companies makes us very excited for the future of our industry. We are still operating throughout very challenging times, but there is nothing like an awards ceremony to remind us of how great this industry is, and we're extremely excited to be able to celebrate with all of the shortlisted companies in person this year.”
