Scibids, the global leader in artificial intelligence for digital marketing, has hired Tanya Iliakis as commercial director Canada.
Founded in Paris in 2016, Scibids has doubled its headcount over the past year and continues to expand its global operations in support of significant business growth in key locations worldwide.
In this newly-created position, Iliakis will focus on developing existing partnerships in the region and creating new business opportunities to grow Scibids’ Toronto office. She has deep knowledge of the global media market in Canada, and brings robust sales and business development experience from her time at 24/7 Real Media, Verizon Media, Triton Digital, and programmatic firm MiQ.

Iliakis’s appointment is part of a global development strategy from Scibids, which seeks to attract local executives with broad vision. This approach has strengthened the company’s presence in strategic markets around the world. Other leaders who have joined Scibids include Rahul Vasudev in Singapore, former APAC MD of MediaMath; Matt Nash in London, former UK MD of Neo; Juan Gonzalez in LATAM, former GroupM CEO for LATAM; and Eric Schwartz in New York, former East-Coast sales director at MiQ USA. Recent commercial hires include Michele Marzan in Italy, Yoji Inutsuka in Japan, Samir Karpe in India, and James Whitbread in Australia.
