Permutive Announces Husna Grimes as VP of Global Privacy

Permutive, an audience platform purpose-built for publishers and advertisers, which enables media to be traded in a privacy-safe way, has hired Husna Grimes as VP of global privacy. Husna will head up the company’s global efforts to lead the publishing and marketing industries into the responsible web.

As VP of global privacy, Husna will lead Permutive’s privacy strategy, ensuring Permutive’s technology delivers a seamless and safe experience for users across the web. This includes building a commercially-focused global privacy team, and establishing a privacy framework for evaluating and complying with emerging privacy standards around the world.

Husna brings a breadth of privacy experience to Permutive, having previously co-founded Pure Privacy, a company offering privacy consultancy and advice across multiple industries, including health tech, media production, events, and adtech. Husna focused on helping companies ethically handle and use personal data within their businesses. Prior to Pure Privacy, Husna worked as Channel 4’s principal data protection lawyer for seven years.

The hiring of Husna comes during a significant period of growth for Permutive, with the audience platform also bolstering its US team – Tori Egler has joined Permutive as its vice president of sales in North America, and Lauren Rubin Tiley has been named as Permutive’s new VP of strategic development.
