DoubleVerify, the leading software platform to verify media quality, optimise ad performance, and prove campaign outcomes, today (9th September, 2026) announced the appointment of Fiona Salmon as regional vice president, Northern Europe.
In this role, Salmon will lead DV's commercial organisation in the Northern European markets, working closely with advertisers, agencies, publishers, and platform partners to accelerate growth and expand adoption of DV's AI-powered media effectiveness products and solutions.
Salmon joins DV with more than 26 years of experience across digital media, advertising technology, and commercial leadership. She has built a distinguished career helping brands and publishers navigate industry transformation through contextual intelligence, privacy-first innovation, strategic partnerships, and AI-powered advertising solutions.

"Fiona is an exceptional commercial leader with deep experience across AI, contextual advertising, and publisher partnerships," said Stuart Flint, managing director, EMEA, DV. "As our industry continues to evolve, advertisers need trusted partners who can help them navigate increasing complexity with confidence. Fiona's expertise and customer-first approach make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team, and I'm excited to see the impact she'll have as we continue growing our business across Northern Europe."
Most recently, Salmon served as managing director at Mantis, the AI-powered contextual advertising platform developed by Reach plc, where she led the company's commercial strategy and oversaw the development of advanced contextual advertising and natural language AI solutions. Prior to Mantis, she served as global vice president of partnerships and sustainability lead at Captify, where she helped drive the company's international growth while embedding sustainability across the business. Earlier, she was the UK managing director at 1plusX, helping pioneer privacy-first audience solutions powered by machine learning, and held senior commercial leadership positions at Vibrant Media, News International, and Emap.
Beyond her commercial accomplishments, Salmon is widely recognised as an advocate for sustainability within the advertising industry, having served as co-chair of the sustainability committee at Reach plc.
"I'm thrilled to join DV at such an exciting time for both the company and the industry," said Salmon. "Advertisers are increasingly looking for partners that can provide independent measurement, actionable insights, and AI-driven solutions that deliver real results. DV has established itself as the leader in media effectiveness, and I look forward to partnering with our clients across the Northern European markets to help them navigate an evolving digital ecosystem with greater transparency, confidence, and performance."
The appointment reflects DV's continued investment in the Northern European market and broader EMEA region as advertisers increasingly prioritise trusted measurement, media quality, and AI-powered optimisation across channels including connected TV, social media, retail media, and the open web. As DV continues to expand its media effectiveness platform, the company remains committed to helping brands improve campaign performance while fostering a more transparent and accountable digital advertising ecosystem.
