Six Sells Team Up with Intelligent Assistance to Reduce Trade Press Reporting by More Than 80%

Six Sells, the leading executive visibility agency for people in media and advertising, has teamed up with Intelligent Assistance to overcome operational challenges and streamline reporting.

Six Sells provides clients with tailored trade press reports that help them stay informed about the stories, trends, and conversations that matter most to their industry. Their original process relied on Custom GPTs scanning around 30 trade press websites to identify relevant articles. The GPTs were programmed to provide:

  • The article headline
  • A short summary of what the article was about
  • A URL so the client could click through and read the full piece

The approach worked in principle, but it created several operational problems. These include returning broken or incorrect links, articles that were not relevant to the search criteria, and missing stories that clients would have wanted to read.

As a result, a member of the Six Sells team had to manually review every report before it could be sent. This meant checking links, removing irrelevant articles, and carrying out additional searches to find missing content.

Each report required around 30 minutes of manual intervention. Across multiple clients, this became a significant operational burden.

Six Sells also faced a scalability challenge. Because each client’s search criteria was different, they had to build a separate Custom GPT for every client. Attempts to combine multiple search requirements into a single GPT often resulted in poorer quality outputs and inconsistent results.

So, as part of their strategic partnership with Intelligent Assistance, they developed a custom Intelligent Engine built specifically for this use case.

The impact was immediate. The average time required to produce a client report fell from approximately 30 minutes to less than five minutes. Six Sells can now receive accurate, working links and relevant articles aligned to the brief with consistent output. The process has shifted from fixing AI mistakes to delivering valuable insight to clients at scale, whilst maintaining the integrity of their brand and the value they bring to their clients.

"This project reflects Intelligent Assistance’s philosophy - human first, human last. This is a belief shared with us here at Six Sells - that AI works best when it amplifies human expertise rather than replacing it." Mike Nicholson - founder, Six Sells.
