UniConsent Launches Privacy Portal, First-Party CMP Domains & Consent Audit Trail
by on 7th Jul 2026 in News
UniConsent by Transfon, the IAB TCF-certified consent management platform, today (7th July, 2026) announced the general availability of three major product capabilities: a self-service Privacy Portal, first-party CMP domain hosting, and a Consent Audit Trail, alongside certified integrations with Microsoft UET and Clarity Consent Mode.
All features are available now to all customers, with self-service onboarding and no developer resources required. The release helps publishers, advertisers, and agencies meet tightening requirements under the UK GDPR, the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA), the EU GDPR, and US state privacy laws without sacrificing consent rates or programmatic revenue.
Privacy Portal: privacy rights management without developer resources
The new Privacy Portal gives organisations a fully branded preference centre where end users can exercise their privacy rights and submit Data Subject Requests (DSRs) in one place. A built-in DSR management system tracks every request from submission and identity verification through internal review and fulfilment, with automated email notifications at each stage. SLA monitoring helps teams meet statutory response deadlines under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA, including the updated DSR provisions introduced by the DUAA.
The portal can be deployed as a hosted page, embedded via iframe, or served from a custom domain. A seven-step wizard covers branding, privacy policy setup, consent categories, DSR form fields, and installation.
First-party CMP domains: protecting consent signal coverage
As browsers continue to restrict third-party resources, UniConsent now enables organisations to serve the consent management script from their own domain, so the banner loads as a first-party resource indistinguishable from the site's own scripts.
For publishers dependent on programmatic revenue, the impact is direct: first-party loading reduces the risk of banners being blocked or delayed, driving higher consent rates and fuller signal coverage while improving page load performance.
Consent Audit Trail: demonstrable proof of valid consent
Under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and growing US state privacy laws, organisations must prove valid consent was obtained for data processing. UniConsent's Consent Audit Trail captures every consent event as a timestamped, immutable record, including the user's choices, the consent notice version presented, and the context in which consent was given.
Compliance teams can search and filter logs in real time, or export records in CSV and JSON. User ID integration links consent records to specific accounts across platforms and devices, valuable for media and e-commerce businesses operating across web and mobile.
Certified Microsoft UET and Clarity Consent Mode partner
UniConsent is now a certified partner for Microsoft UET Consent Mode and Microsoft Clarity Consent Mode. Consent signals are forwarded in real time to Microsoft UET for conversion tracking and to Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps. Combined with existing Google Consent Mode 2.0 support, advertisers gain unified signal coverage across the two largest advertising ecosystems.
Availability
All new features are generally available today across all UniConsent plans. Existing customers can enable them from their dashboard; new users can get started via self-service onboarding at www.uniconsent.com.
