Ogury, the global technology leader in mobile advertising anchored in privacy protection, announces the appointment of Dietmar Figl as senior publisher development director central Europe. In this position, Figl will work to strengthen Ogury’s relationship with top media publishers in the region, and most specifically in Austria, Benelux, Germany and Switzerland.
With nearly 15 years of experience in publisher-facing positions in the DACH region, Figl started his career in 2008 as publisher manager at the global performance marketing company CJ Affiliate. He then held more senior positions at local ad marketplace Adscale (now a Ströer company) and global ad marketplace OpenX, which introduced header bidding to the German market. Most recently, Figl was senior publisher account director DACH at global customer intelligence platform Zeotap, where he oversaw the implementation of its solution and developed its publisher acquisition strategy.
“The online advertising landscape is changing and I’m eager to help Ogury strengthen its relationship with top-tier DACH local publishers in this fast-moving industry,” explained Dietmar Figl. Figl will be based in Munich and report to Fabio Zoboli, head of publishing development EMEA at Ogury. “Many of the world's top publishers are using Ogury for access to premium demand, across mobile web and in-app,” said Fabio Zoboli, head of publishing development EMEA, Ogury. “ Dietmar will be a true asset in nurturing these relationships and making Ogury the preferred partner for publishers in central Europe.”
