Attekmi, an ad tech provider offering monetisation solutions, has recently introduced Keyword Support for the FreeWheel DSP Adapter to enable the system to prioritise values from incoming requests and use UI-configured inputs as a fallback when data is missing. 

When enabled, additional keyword-specific input fields become available. Values entered in these fields can be injected into the request as a backup plan if the corresponding values are not present in the incoming request. The system always analyses keyword values from the request first, regardless of this setting, and uses the UI input only if no matching value is found.

Currently, 11 inputs are supported, which are as follows:

• Timezone
• City
• DMA
• State
• Programmer brand
• Channel
• Genre (multiple genres can be added)
• Language
• Content rating
• Content stream mode
• Custom key-value pair (5 additional fields can be added)

All inputs are optional and can be empty. The logic behind the mechanism is as follows:

1. The system attempts to detect the value from the OpenRTB field 
2. The system attempts to detect the value from the OpenRTB extension field 
3. If the value is not detected, the system switches to the UI input
4. If the UI input is empty, the string is not added to the request
