ADvendio Joins AgenticAdvertising.org to Advance AdCP Standards

ADvendio, the leading solution for Agentic Advertising Execution, today (8th September, 2026) announced it has officially joined AgenticAdvertising.org to accelerate the development of open standards for AI agents across media and advertising.
As the premier nonprofit trade association for AI-powered advertising, AgenticAdvertising.org governs the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP), the open standard enabling AI buying agents to communicate and negotiate directly with AI selling agents across publishers and retail media networks.
ADvendio’s membership reinforces its commitment to an interoperable future for media operations where AI autonomy is anchored by human oversight and governance. While protocol connections allow agents to discover and communicate, connectivity alone does not equal commerce. ADvendio provides the universal execution infrastructure that enables any buying agent - whether operating on AdCP, IAB AAMP, or custom LLM frameworks - to execute legally valid, commercially sound transactions with media sellers.
"We are delighted to join AgenticAdvertising.org to advance open Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) standards. We are on the verge of a technology revolution in advertising, but progress hinges on our ability to move past isolated AI solutions that can only work reliably within internal ecosystems," said Julian Ahrends, CTO at ADvendio.
The market is rapidly embracing autonomous agents, but speed without control is an enterprise liability. Experimental AI tools can recommend buys or send connection requests, but enterprise transactions demand commercial governance. ADvendio bridges the gap between protocol connectivity and real-world commerce: AdCP provides the connection, while ADvendio provides the execution layer. As agents collaborate across the value chain, ADvendio’s proprietary Guardrail Engine ensures every automated transaction strictly honors business rules regarding inventory, pricing, creditworthiness, and contract terms.
This architecture transforms operations for both sides of the media ecosystem. For media organisations, it turns operational bottlenecks into automated revenue generation without ever bypassing their financial or contractual controls. For advertisers and their agency partners, complex, non-standard buys can now be executed agentically while automatically honouring their negotiated framework agreements, pricing tiers, and volume commitments.
