Azerion & Starcount Partner to Combine Spend Data with Omnichannel Precision
by on 3rd Nov 2026 in News

Omnichannel advertising platform Azerion has partnered with consumer behaviour data specialist Starcount in a move that fuses consumer spending data with full-funnel media activation. The collaboration provides advertisers and agencies with new precision tools to reach target audiences when they are most likely to buy.
Starcount combines granular spend transaction insights with consumer interests and intent to decode why, where and how audiences spend, in addition to who they are. Translated into highly precise postcode-level data, this intelligence enriches Azerion’s proprietary DMP with contextual, behavioural and location-based datapoints. Brands running campaigns across Azerion’s ecosystem can pinpoint and activate highly-relevant audience segments at scale across display, online video (OLV), audio, digital out-of-home (DOOH), connected TV (CTV) and gaming.
The new partnership bridges the gap between in-depth audience strategy planning and programmatic execution, ensuring consumers see campaigns when they are both receptive to the message and predisposed to purchase. Data segments are custom-built to brief objectives, giving marketers the tools to target by verified merchant spend, lifestyle habits, and active spend behaviour while measuring tangible post-exposure uplift in both brand search and real-world spend.
Marco Perin, growth & strategy director at Azerion, says: "Partnering with Starcount brings an unprecedented layer of intelligence and precision to our media offering. We’re giving brands a complete, full-funnel vision of their target audience - pinpointing exactly where consumers sit in the buying journey and deploying the right tactics and messaging needed to move them to action. It transforms reach into genuine commercial impact."
Rowena Humby, co-founder & CEO at Starcount, says: "Knowing what a consumer bought isn't enough anymore - the ultimate advantage is knowing why they bought it. By combining Starcount's proprietary spend and behavioural AI with Azerion's full-funnel media reach, we’re enabling advertisers to target the exact mindsets and motivations that lead to a transaction. Together, we turn these mindsets into precise targeting, helping brands reduce acquisition costs, boost campaign performance, and deliver measurable real-world outcomes."
The joint capability has been deployed in market with 'It's Your Haus' campaign for leading home appliance brand AEG, planned and executed by Zenith Media. Harnessing Azerion’s full-funnel media capabilities, the activation deploys an intentional, multi-faceted audience strategy that simultaneously engages co-existing consumer mindsets. By combining verified spend transaction data, lifestyle interests, and key life stage triggers, Azerion and Starcount activated tailored media touchpoints across high-impact DOOH screens to reach target buyers at pivotal moments in their purchasing journey - including active home improvers upgrading living spaces, recent re-locators making high-intent appliance purchases, and aspirational urban consumers seeking stylish design trends.
Kate Chafer, media & planning lead UK & Ireland at AEG parent company Electrolux, says: "It's Your Haus is about inspiring people to create a home that's uniquely their own. From dream kitchens to beautifully designed laundry spaces, we're showing that appliances are more than products, they support the lifestyle consumers aspire to create. Backed by significant investment, this campaign marks an exciting new chapter for AEG, strengthening our connection with consumers and reinforcing our position as a leading premium appliance brand."
"Working alongside Zenith, our partnership with Azerion and Starcount has enabled us to move beyond broad audience assumptions and connect with consumers based on genuine purchase intent. By combining verified spending behaviour with high-impact media environments, we've delivered more relevant and meaningful messaging at the moments people are actively planning and investing in their dream home."
