Singapore’s retail sales up 8.4% in February (CNA)

The Chinese New Year festivities fuelled strong retail growth in Singapore. With the celebrations having taken place in February this year, the month saw retail sales hit an 8.4% year-on-year increase. This follows January’s growth of 1.6%.

Google is considering charging for new premium features, such as an AI powered search – this move would mark the first time the tech giant charges for enhancements to any of its core services/products. 

Uber Eats launches a TikTok-like video feed to boost discovery (TechCrunch)

Uber Eats is launching a TikTok-like short-form video feed to boost discovery, with the aim of helping restaurants to showcase their dishes. The feed is currently being tested in New York, San Francisco and Toronto.
