by on 1st Jun 2026 in News

Former Croud and Precis director Matt Chinn has joined Fifty, the audience intelligence and media solutions partner, today (1st June, 2026) as its new growth and partnerships director.
With extensive experience driving business development and commercial growth for some of the world’s leading brands across digital marketing agencies, Chinn will play a key role in supporting Fifty’s domestic and international expansion and advancing the next phase of its commercial strategy.

Working closely with the leadership team, he will focus on building new client relationships, developing strategic partnerships and helping brands unlock measurable results through Fifty’s audience intelligence platform. Based at the company’s London headquarters, he will report directly to CEO Simon Shaw.
Fifty uses proprietary audience intelligence to help brands and agencies turn insight into faster, more effective media strategy, planning and activation.
The Fifty platform combines deep human understanding with AI-powered simulation, enabling brands to explore how people think, feel and make decisions, simulate behaviour and engage directly with audiences. Clients include The Stonegate Group, Chipotle, Bombardier and England Rugby.
Chinn brings nearly two decades of experience across some of the UK’s leading digital marketing agencies. Most recently, he served as Growth Director at full-service digital marketing agency Precis, where he led marketing and sales strategies to increase brand awareness and expand the agency’s client base.
Prior to that, he was at Croud, where he played a key role in scaling the agency and helping secure industry recognition, including New Business Team of the Year at the ALF Insight Sales and Marketing Awards. He has also held business development roles at Uniform, Upfront and Sky.
Shaw said: “Matt brings a strong track record of driving commercial growth across leading digital marketing agencies, and his many years of experience of working directly with brands, to understand their strategic challenges, and partner with them to deliver audience-first solutions, makes him a valuable addition as we continue expanding Fifty’s capabilities and global reach.
“His appointment marks another important step in bringing Fifty’s platform, audience technology and media solutions to national and international markets. Following our strongest year to date, the business has real momentum and we’re excited to continue growing our relationships with agencies and brands alike.”
Chinn added: “Having worked at some of the UK’s fastest-growing agencies and across a number of tech businesses, joining Fifty at such a transformative moment for AI feels incredibly exciting. Fifty’s technology stack and audience intelligence capabilities create a genuinely distinctive proposition, giving us the opportunity to help both global and national brands scale more effectively. What drew me to the business was its ability to bring together tech, brand and paid media in a way that feels truly meaningful. It’s rare to find a company with such strong, genuine technology at its core.”
Chinn’s appointment follows the arrival of Charlie Firebrace as Growth Director, as Fifty enters the next phase of its commercial expansion. To support its growing client base, Fifty has also appointed Cecilia Blencowe as Insights Executive. She will report into Managing Partner Josh Tompkins and will deliver audience insights to support client campaigns.
