Taboola Partners with Goal.com to Power Content Discovery & Audience Experience
by on 8th Sep 2026 in News

Taboola, a global leader in delivering performance at scale for advertisers, has partnered with Goal.com, the world’s largest online football destination.
Under the agreement, Goal.com will use a suite of Taboola products to enhance the reader experience, grow engagement, and drive revenue. These include Taboola Feed, which provides readers with personalised, multi-format content recommendations, and Taboola Header Bidding, which helps publishers improve monetisation across display advertising inventory.
The announcement comes shortly after the 2026/27 Premier League season got under way, with fans returning to Goal.com for live scores, breaking news, video, and analysis.
Founded in 2004, Goal.com provides news, live scores, video, and editorial content across 19 languages and receives more than 125 million visits each month.
The agreement forms part of a wider renewal between Taboola and Goal.com’s parent company, Footballco. Taboola currently operates products across five Footballco websites, including Spox in Germany and Calcio Mercato in Italy. The renewed agreement, which began in 2023, will run for at least a further two years until December 2028.
Adam Singolda, founder and CEO, Taboola said: "Goal.com has already shown they are a key destination for sports fans globally, delivering timely and fan-centric content. Partnering with Taboola opens the door to even more ways to keep their massive readership engaged, to attract more readers, to monetise and more."
